Cacao, my guilt free treat


Cocoa beans and Raw Cacao Powder is one of the most nutrient rich and complex foods. For thousands of years, ancient Mayans and ancient Aztecs have known about the amazing healing properties of the raw chocolate and they have used it in their daily cultural rituals, as well healing. Raw Cacao is so amazing, that the whole compound of cacao beans hasn’t even been discovered.

scene from the movie something real and good 

There is something about a sunday where I just want to lay back in my room and succumb to my bed and watch a movie. I prefer indies over mainstream. The movie I chose for my lazy Sunday was Something Real and Good, which surprisingly rose to my expectations. It was entertaining enough to make me wanna know what was going to happen next and a plus I didn't fall asleep. 
I enjoyed this movie, it had pretty thought provoking dialogue.

It’s refreshingly good!

Truly delicious!!!
 My kitchen is like a science lab, I will never get sick of experimenting :)

A super low calorie meal that is satisfying and packed with flavour and is grain free. One serving of cauliflower rice contains about 35 calories and 7.5 grams of carbohydrate, and provides 2 vegetable servings! 
Here's my version of cauliflower rice, suits vegangluten-free and Paleo diets - so a rather universal dish. Cheap as well!



Quick and Easy Cauliflower Rice with Tomatoes & Basil
Ingredients
1 head cauliflower, trimmed and cut into florets
1 tablespoons of olive oil
half an onion, diced
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
3 roma tomatoes, diced
big bunch of basil, roughly chopped
salt + pepper

Directions 
Place cauliflower pieces into the work bowl of a food processor (you may have to do this in batches). Pulse until cauliflower pieces are about the size of grains of rice.
In a large frying pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add the onions and garlic sauté until translucent. Stir in the cauliflower, reduce the heat and cover. Let it steam/cook for 5-8 minutes or until the cauliflower is tender.
Stir the roma tomatoes and basil into the cauliflower. Cook until heated through. Taste, adding salt and pepper.
