I really want one of these stunning stone necklaces by Nallik, definitely on my Christmas list. NALLIK is a word borrowed from the Inuit language and designer Jean Balke uses Inuit philosophy to inspire her work. Taking the notion of sustainability, which the Inuit’s hold so close, she uses raw, organic semi precious stones in her pieces which she has collected on her world travels. All the stones are handpicked and then turned into her distinctive modern jewellery in Jaipur or her home town of Berlin.
