Buckwheat Cinnamon Bun
Ingredients
2 cups of soaked or sprouted buckwheat, rinsed
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp of flax seeds
2 Tbs of maple syrup
splash of almond milk
1 Tbs of cinnamon
1/4 cup of cranberries
1/4 of chopped walnuts
2 Tbs of sesame seeds
coconut oil for greasing

Directions
Preheat your oven to 180C.
Place 2 cups of soaked buckwheat in a blender and mix.
Add the baking powder, cinnamon, maple syrup and the flax egg until well combined. Add a SMALL amount of milk of your choice (I used alond milk). It should make a sticky sort of dough. Fold in walnuts, cranberries and sesame seeds.  Break up mixture and roll in to small bread buns. Transfer onto a greased pan and sprinkle with your desired topping, I used more sesame seeds. Put into the oven and bake for approximately 25 minutes, or until the bread is lightly browned on top, and a skewer is removed cleanly. Allow to cool, then remove from the pan and serve either on its own, or smothered with your favourite condiment.

Indian Summer by Patrick Demarchelier with Gemma Ward

This 2007 Vogue UK editorial featuring Gemma Ward backpacking through India is one of my favourite fashion spreads. I recently got back from travelling and it reminded me of the beautifully bright Indian culture. She certainly pulls of
the clashing prints, layered hats, track pants and pom pom scarves. I don't know how one can look this stylish while backpacking through India's blazing hot summer's...I know I didn't :P

Above works are from the a Due Colori series

Italian photographer/graphic designer Alberto Seveso has taken high speed close-up photographs of colorful ink mixing with water. He has created gorgeous life-forms that look like fabric or art sculptures. His sinuous ink photographs are lively and capture the imagination. What’s impressive is that this is such a simple device (dropping some ink in water and watching what happens...
Magic!!!

Ponza is the largest of the Pontine Islands, a stunning volcanic archipelago just off the western coast, midway between Rome and Naples. These Islands are extraordinary because of their variety of coastlines, the colours of their rocks, the attractive villages and the small ports in pure Mediterranean style. Can't wait to see the incomparable beauty of these islands one day!

Oven-Roasted Chickpeas

It may seem like a hassle to sprout before cooking but it's really not. I managed to convince my roomate to start sprouting and now we have our very own garden right next to the sink :P I like to keep goodies sprouting all the time + it's cheap, easy & quick.

Ingredients
1 cup of soaked (preferably sprouted) chickpeas
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
choice of herb/spice or both

Directions
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
Rinse chickpeas then place them on a baking tray.
Pat off any excess water with a kitchen towel.
Drizzle olive oil over the chickpeas, add garlic powder, salt and your choice of herb or spice.
Mix chickpeas until they are coated with olive oil and spices.
Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Watch them closely in the last 5 or so minutes to prevent them from burning.
Enjoy a guilt-free snack!

These roasted chickpeas are the best of both worlds: crunchy and salty and packed with sustaining protein. Once roasted they become nutty, crunchy and addictive!
What's more, they make a healthy snack and are simple to make. You can use any spices you like or adjust the spice to your taste. The possibilities are endless . . .

Abbey Lee Kershaw becomes enveloped in florals for this soft, feminine shoot captured by Lachlan Bailey for Vogue China's May 2012 issue. Styled by Clare Richardson, Abbey wears pieces by Rodarte, Dolce & Gabbana. Love everything about this romantic story of floral prints and feminine dresses.
