I stumbled across the most idyllic yoga studio I’ve ever laid eyes on located in Melbourne. One Hot Yoga is the creation of architect Rob Mills and his yogi wife, Lucinda. The 1960s brick factory turned meditation haven uses the best simplicity with a hint of earthiness, with Kilim rugs lying peacefully below whitewashed brick. An energy-efficient fresh-air system, pale recycled wood, concrete floors (with radiant heating), and textured fabrics create an environment that resonates with the yoga principles of calmness and contemplation. Can't wait to visit this studio on my next trip to Melbourne.
