s u p e r f o o d = c o c o n u t

So if you don't already know COCONUT has a long history of being a healthy plant for the human body. Coconut is definitely one of my top 5 favourite fruits. I'm truly missing eating a coconut a day in Thailand as their everywhere and in everything. From young coconuts(maprao awn),to roasted coconut(maprao pao),coconut puddings(Khanom Krok),curries and my special favourite...

These are only a very few benifits of the coconut....it would take many blogs to list them all!

Coconut in sansckrit ( ancient language of India), is known as the tree that supplies all that is needed to live. WOW!!!
Coconut water is almost identical to human blood plasma, which makes it a universal donor.

The meat of the coconut has the ability to rejuvinate age-related oxidative tissue damage-helps prevent aging and degenerate diseases.

Improves the functioning of the nervous system
Very useful in weight loss, because it increases the metabolism.

Also strenghtens the immune system and improves digestion.

You can actually apply topically to a bruise or wound and helps with the healing.

Lessens the symptoms of hypoglycemia as it stabilizes blood sugar levels.

Helps with absorption of calcium and magnesium
serious amounts of lauric acid (a beauty food for skin and immunity).

Helps regulate and support hormone production.
